Nature at it's best
I am a science geek.
My degrees are in natural products chemistry.
Therefore, I come at all of my work from the nature side.
Newly getting into woodworking since a friend I've known for a long time has a lumber mill and makes furniture. His cut off discard pile has some beautiful wood. I thought I can make something with those pieces.
Now working on combining the wood with the gemstones.

Many years ago, I bought a gemstone faceting machine, and I taught myself to cut gemstones.
Now I use a CAD software to help me design high quality unique gemstones.
Later I taught myself metalwork.
I will always be teaching myself new skills and new ways of making objects of beauty.
In my searches for high quality gemstone rough, I will sometimes come across very well formed natural crystals.
Believing these natural formations are beautiful as they are, I started to make jewelry using rough crystals.
