The Evolution of JoHa Designs
Growing up, I reluctantly acquired the nickname JoHa from my closest relatives. My initial embarrassment towards this silly name eventually turned into an artistic opportunity as I found "JoHa" was a great way to sign my artwork in college. However, it wasn't until I began to suffer from severe depression in 2010 that this name would come to symbolize the vital bridge between my artistic vision and the support from my family and friends. So many family members and friends have helped me, both financially and emotionally, throughout my life and they continue to support me in every endeavor. And I'm happy to say that through lots of love, therapy (both craft and clinical), and growth, I am moving forward on this creative journey- one step at a time.
Every item sold from JoHa Designs is hand-made and held up to a very high standard. I take pride in my craftsmanship and work hard to create high quality items for reasonable prices.
JoHa Designs also believes in staying as "green" as possible. All of my ornaments and paper beads are made from upcycled materials (old books, calendars, etc.) and my jewelry boxes and gift/note cards are made from 100% recycled paper.
