About my work / Print On Demand
As a seasoned graphic designer with over 15 years of experience, I have honed my skills through a diverse range of influences and experiences. My passion for design was sparked by my involvement in the punk rock music scene in the UK, where I was particularly drawn to the artistic elements of gig posters. I furthered my education in the field by studying graphic design at the university level, which allowed me to explore and expand my creative abilities in areas such as illustration and screenprinting. Following my graduation, I began taking on freelance projects for a variety of clients, including bands, small businesses, and private commissions.
My work is heavily influenced by the rubberhose-style cartoons of the 1930s, as well as more contemporary gig poster design. I utilize a combination of industry-standard software such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, in addition to Procreate on the Apple iPad, to create my pieces.
I am currently living in New Zealand with my fiance where we are raising our daughter together. I am fulfilling new orders through Printful (Print On Demand). Being geographically isolated means that postage from here can be very expensive when sending items across the world. Printful will fulfill your order and ship it to you. Your order will be processed in your country (or the country closest to you). This keeps the postage rates low so that you don't have to spend a small fortune to obtain your goods. And it means that I can open the shop again!
