Announcement    Due to the current global situation, at the moment I am not able to restock some items such as my jigsaws, since there is a problem with the suppliers. I will endeavour to post parcels within my normal 1 to 3 working days, but the postal service may still be slower than normal. All parcels will be packed with extra care. These are difficult times for everyone, and any purchase from my shop is greatly appreciated. Thank you for standing with independent artists and shops. #StandWithSmall
I'm an Irish artist working in paint, pencil and print, (sometimes all at the same time!) with a love of colour, pattern and visual story-telling. I make and sell from my home studio, The BlackSheep Gallery, in the countryside in Northern Ireland. Member of the United Kingdom Coloured Pencil Society and newly elected President of the Ulster Society of Women Artists.

About JudithLoganART

Sales 214
On Etsy since 2015

Artist and illustrator working in several media, based in Ireland, and with half my heart in Chile!

My paintings and drawings are based on personal experiences in life, or snapshots of others` that I manage to draw in my sketchbook, or commit to memory, and all mixed with a healthy dose of my imagination. A portrait of everyday life: a walk with the dog, a lie down on the sofa, a quiet moment with a young child. Sometimes though, my art deals with deeper themes, such as a sense of belonging, something I identify with since I was born and raised in N. Ireland but lived in Chile for nearly a decade.
Since 2012 when I turned professional, I have exhibited regularly in several galleries in N.Ireland and been selected for group shows including the Royal Watercolour Society, the Royal Ulster Academy, the Sunday Times Watercolour Competition, and in 2018 and 2019 with the Society of Women Artists. In 2016, I became an Associate member of The Ulster Society of Women Artists, winning the Lily Davies New Member award, and this year am really excited to be their newly elected President. Having been accepted 5 years running in their annual open international exhibitions, I now have Silver membership status in The United Kingdom Coloured Pencil Society. Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy browsing my shop!

Each piece of art I make is really a small piece of me, the artist. For every "successful" piece, there are hours of experiments, happy accidents, and some not so happy ones. But I am at my happiest when I am creating something. Thank you for sharing in my journey.

Privacy
I want all buyers and collectors to feel comfortable making purchases from my shop, and know exactly how I use and store your data. The only personal data I require, is that already afforded to me through Etsy, and any extra information such as changes of addressee, given with your compliance in a direct conversation or email, such as name, address, email and phone number. This information is naturally needed to complete orders, meet and improve customer service, and in certain cases, for possible future legal use in the event of a claim. I do not send any of your personal details to any third party. The only other providers who may see said details, other than Etsy itself, will be the postal services or couriers that I need to use to get your order to you on time. Generally, you can expect me to store your details for a maximum of 4 years. I may soon set up a newsletter where customers interested in receiving news of future artwork, events and promotions can sign up. However, if I do create the newsletter, there will always be an option to opt out or unsubscribe at any time. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and as always, I'm willing to answer any queries you might have.
