Hi!
My name is Julie Baker and am happy that you are taking the time to read a little about myself and my background in jewelry!
At age 19 I was shipped off to around the world to Model. For almost 2 decades I was fortunate enough to see such amazing cultures and architecture that it was stored away in my head as a 'one day I will make jewelry idea.!
In 2001, I launched my high-end couture jewelry company, Julie Baker Design (JBD), Buyer’s from top department stores, including Bergdorf Goodman, Barney’s, and Saks, and select independent boutiques throughout the United States and abroad showcased my designs and I was ecstatic!!
A celebrity clientele base soon followed, and Julie Baker Design worn by clients such as Nicole Kidman, Drew Barrymore.
When the economy went South in 2010 I had to shut down my company that I worked so hard on, leave my beloved NYC and start over.
Starting over as a single mom and having been just devastated was easier said then done.... but after 6 years- I have finally gotten back on that horse and designing again, but for the masses to enjoy. Instead of 18 and 22k gold and diamonds, I am using 18k gold plating mixed with semi precious stones to bring alive a collection of modern freshness, wearability and affordable to all.
Jewelry is my passion and being able to work from home and raise my daughter is also a huge passion of mine. Being able to do both again makes me feel so blessed and thankful I took that hard step to rebuild my business and the gratitude I feel when you all purchase is overwhelming.

RETURNS
We accept unworn exchanges within 7 days of when your package was delivered, with the following exceptions:
- Returns are NOT accepted on personalized pieces, unless we made an error.
- Bridal Party orders are non-returnable.
Please contact us for a return via Etsy Convos:
- Please pack the item carefully with original packaging + and include your name and order number in the package
- Please send items being returned in a bubble mailer envelope (so items do not become damaged in the mail)
We DO NOT refund shipping costs.
WE are NOT responsible for broken jewelry chains. Jewelry chains are fragile by nature please take care to remove your jewelry before sleeping or any strenuous activity. With the correct care your jewelry can last a lifetime.
