Junction Trade {Where Creative Ideas Come Together}
Welcome to our junction! We are Kevin and Beth and we love to see new places, experience new things, enjoy nature and carry on the traditions of a few old things. Individually, Kevin likes birding and wood. Beth likes photography, graphic design and reading.
In the fall of 2013, we decided to step into a world of creative flexibility. It's kind of our way of making decisions about what we want to do: if it isn't creative or doesn't give us the flexibility we want, it's out. So we started Junction Trade, a way to express our creativity and give some flexibility to the way we live our lives. Junction Trade is the crossroads that brings our unique ideas together.
In our store we offer a variety of lathe-turned wood items. Our first creative creations were those crazy birds! It's like 'cutting and pasting' when we were kids, only with wood. And each bird, whether fat, skinny, tall or short has its own unique personality. That's one of the things we love about this new path we're on; creating things that not only bring us joy, but that can bring joy to others. Recently we have added owls, acorns, houses, feeders, and even a few chickens into the mix. We are always looking for new functional uses for our art!
