I am a wife and mother of two - a two year old son and infant daughter. I have crafted my whole life, my favorite mediums being paper, ink and assorted fabric types. I opened my Etsy shop in 2011, but it has transformed from just a hobby into a more vital source for our little family when I needed to leave my full time job to care for our firstborn. When you purchase from me, you are not only helping a dream come to life, you are truly putting dinner on the table for our family.

My business began on my bedroom floor of my parents home, where I sat cross-legged as a post-college grad hand-making cards. I will never, ever forget my first etsy sale. I was so proud, excited, and empowered. I spent lots of time crafting with my grandmother at her home until she passed away in 2011. My crafting then took place on my dining room table as a newlywed. My husband eventually created a dedicated room for my hobby - we painted it purple and filled it with IKEA furniture and vintage findings. This oasis would become obsolete after the birth of our second child, when I got booted to the basement. I am honored to take this hit, though.

I first launched selling my greeting cards at our local farmer's market and artisan festivals. Handcrafting greeting cards is a labor of love for me because they are so meaningful for the recipient. I dream of baby shower cards and wedding cards I've created, tucked away in peoples' memory boxes for generations to come. Over time I began introducing custom party decor into my repertoire, then hair barrettes, then vintage holiday dioramas. With the birth of our daughter, I desired sweet little bows for her head, but couldn't find just what I envisioned anywhere on the market - and so began my bow making endeavor.
