This shop started because I kept clicking on mental health tools online… and immediately clicking away. They were helpful, sure — but so beige, so overcomplicated, and so visually joyless that my brain refused to engage with them. I knew I wouldn’t keep them out, and I definitely wasn’t going to put them on my wall long enough for them to actually help.
So I started designing my own.
Everything here is inspired by evidence-based psychology, nature, folklore, and the kinds of reminders that help real brains through real days. The goal isn't more information—it's creating beautiful objects you'll actually want to keep nearby.
I noticed a similar problem with most “witty” or political shirts. A lot of them are loud, declarative, and focused on identity signaling — more yelling, less thinking. And right now, yelling the same things louder isn’t fixing much.
What we need is interruption. Humor. Absurdity. A moment that makes someone laugh… and then pause. Art that nudges people to think about the world we’re building and their role in it.
These two things - mental health tools and thoughtful political shirts - might seem unrelated...until you consider the mental health of the people causing a lot of the world's problems. We turn our inner states into our outer realities.
Some people choose swords.
I choose ideas.

Frequently asked questions
Why "Juniper Caravan"?
The origin of the name is like the origin of most of the items in my shop - it just popped into my head one day! More than that though, despite being from a rainy area, I am fascinated by deserts, hence juniper. Caravan simply because it's fun and I want to bring you along for the ride.
Are the designs original?
Every design starts with an idea I wanted to exist. I spend a lot of time researching, refining, and building each piece until it feels right.
Can I send this as a gift?
Absolutely! You can ship your order directly to the recipient by entering their shipping address during checkout. I don't currently offer gift wrapping, but pricing isn't included in the package.
What's the story behind Juniper Caravan?
Juniper Caravan is built around the idea that the things we see every day shape how we think and feel. Here you'll find folklore-inspired art, cozy reminders, and evidence-informed designs created to make everyday life a little gentler, more curious, and a little more magical.
Will you be making more Cryptid Tea Society items?
Yes! The Cryptid Tea Society is an expanding collection, and I'm always adding new field gear for fellow members.
