Brightening up your walls to brighten your day...
I am a life-long macramé artist, though I didn't know it at first. Being a kid in the earlier 90s, I was obsessed with making friendship bracelets for EVERYONE. I would rip up t-shirts, steal my families shoe laces, use hair, anything that could be parted and knotted I wanted.
After finishing trade school for Graphic Design, I decided to continue studio arts in college. I took 3yrs in Welding, I was/still am pursuing my dream of becoming a gate designer but something happened that put that on pause. In 2019, I gave birth to my 2nd bobbin (yes, I nickname my kids bobbins, like in my favorite movie "Willow"). With now being a stay at home Mother, having to move to an apartment due to COVID, and home schooling my oldest, I had to put a pause on welding and decided to get back into what I know best to help bring in more income for the family.
I love Etsy, I seriously love to shop here and get things for my crafts and for my own walls all the time (plant lover that can't stop buying cute pots). I had to start my shop here and share my macramé art with you all. Going back into macramé has brought me a lot of joy cause it's something I can do to help the family during these crazy 2020 times. With the patience and focus that goes into all my pieces, I noticed that I was just living for it. Dancing and doing macramé at the same time, pushing my abilities to even greater creations than my younger self and just happy to be able to work from home. This is why my motto is "brightening up your walls to brighten your day" cause I really do put good energy into my work and I want my art to radiate good energy to you as well. So, I hope to make all my costumers smile everyday with a piece of my art shining on their walls. Also, follow my Instagram to see the process of my creations and see my silly family and me grow.
