How It All Began
Not long ago, I discovered a passion that has brought me tremendous joy—the wonderful world of sewing.
My sewing journey began while working with children in a local housing community. I taught singing and dancing, and as the children improved, I wanted to take them to perform at local nursing homes so they could share their talents and brighten someone's day. I thought costumes would help them feel proud and confident, but I couldn't find affordable dance skirts.
So I asked myself, "How hard can they be to make?"
That simple question opened the door to an exciting new adventure. What began with a few dance skirts soon grew into making dresses for my granddaughters. And if you've ever had a little girl who loves dolls, you can probably guess what happened next—matching doll outfits!
After seeing the high cost of matching outfits for children and their dolls, I decided to create my own. That's how my "Mini Me" Collection was born.
Today, sewing has become one of my greatest joys. As my daughter likes to say, "Mom, you're a sewing machine!" I love creating handmade treasures that bring happiness to children, collectors, and families alike.
