Geeky perfection, sitting cozily upon you head.
It all started, when one day my husband comes home from work and tells me his friend wanted a ninja turtle beanie. My husband had mentioned that I crochet and asked if I could try to make a beanie. I, of course, said "challenge accepted".
From there, the remaining buddies at my husband's job HAD to have their matching beanies (see below for the group photo op). Everyone one at our places of work were so amazed, I started getting requests left and right! Hats, scarfs, doggy sweaters, purses, you name it.
It was so awesome to see the smile on everyone's face when they put their hat on for the first time!! I had to have MORE of THAT. So, here I am today, slaving away for you guys and my fans ;). I couldn't be happier!
My husband and I have a healthy nerdy appitite, and we feed each other suggestions for my "next great cap". Fortunately, there is an infinite amount cap ideas out there, so I'm gonna keep 'em comin'! When I start a new cap, my husband gives me feedback on what the cap should look like. Once I've finished the hat, he then checks it over with extreme scrutiny (and I do mean EXTREME). For example, I had the entire Captain Falcon hat complete, I was ready to throw it on Etsy... then, Cory (my husband) gets home. He said "it's 'pretty good'", which I knew meant "re-do it" lol!! I had to start ALL over until I got it "right" (silly man).
But, that is our dedication to you! Cory and I make sure the hats accurately represent the target character. I want you to have the hat YOU want and I LOVE doing it.
