Handmade Digital + Printed Planners
After having my baby girl in August 2011, I decided that I would go back to work after my maternity leave was over. I never dreamed that I would be a stay at home mom. During the first three months, I realized how much I was missing in her development.
After many prayers and discussing it over with my husband, I decided to go ahead and turn in my two weeks notice at work. That was one of the hardest decisions I've had to make. But was so worth it.
As I was designing her one year old birthday invitation, I had an idea. Why not open my own graphic design business! And that's how KBD Graphics came to life!!
Now don't get me wrong... I love spending quality time with my baby girl. But I knew I was missing something in my life.
I started out by creating invitations only for my family. I decided to open to the public after a lot of my friends asked me to create the perfect invitation for their events. I always wanted to own my own business and couldn't think of a better thing to do! I love my job and absolutely love getting to use my creativity each and every day!
I expanded into taking on business clients in 2013. I now get to be creative and work on fun designs for businesses not only around my area, but all over the world thanks to my online shop! I absolutely LOVE my business clients and am so blessed that they trust me enough to create logos, ads, flyers, business cards and other exciting pieces for their beloved businesses!
In July 2014, I decided to take the next big leap and start designing a custom planner line, KBD Planners. My hopes are that with hard work and time, it will continue to grow even more so then it already has. I am constantly thinking of new designs for my planners.
