Our Story
Hi! We're kbhc, a family business based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. When it came time to name our shop, we drew on the last names in our blended family to honor our little unit. Each one of us is a natural designer, inherently drawn to dreaming, tinkering, refining, and reshaping, and we're happy to have the opportunity to share our dreams with you.
We met in high school, though it wasn't until years later that we married. We struggled together through graduate school, moved to Michigan sight-unseen during the pandemic, and through all of it kept imagining, designing, and making together. Our journey into 3D printing began when we bought our first printer just for fun... and then a few days later, T was laid off. When we found ourselves faced with the aftermath, we started tentatively selling a few designs, and we loved it! We began showing up at local markets (shout out to Fulton Street Market!), expanding our offerings, and haven't stopped since.
So what do we do? We make things we love, including 3D printed games, crafting tools, desk accessories, miniatures, and gifts. Interested in something custom? Reach out. If we can do it, we'll do it with gusto.
