A Passion for Painting
I am primarily a self taught artist. My passion for painting, interior design, and fashion started at a very young age, as far back as I can remember I was rearranging the furniture in my childhood bedroom and drawing fashion illustrations. As a busy stay at home mother of three daughters I did not pursue it professionally until they were in college, at the encouragement of friends I started selling my paintings at local art boutiques and shows, then finally opened my etsy shop in 2011. Since then I have been painting full time every day and learning as much about painting as I can through study and workshops. My interior design love has led to an emphasis on still life painting, I love painting fresh flowers in beautiful vignettes. I have also been painting wedding dresses recently, as my own daughter was recently married and I have had requests from friends for that service.
My paintings are in private collections from Park Avenue to Australia, I have been featured in the blogs fashion truffles, style me pretty and The Enchanted Home.
