When Passion and Talent Collide

I've always heard that what you do while "wasting time" is what you should probably be doing for a living - and also that if you're enjoying your "wasted time" it's not really wasted after all. These are now the mottoes that I try to live and work by.

Design is something that I've always felt I had an eye for and my computer and I have been attached at the hip as long as I can remember. The world of digital scrapbooking just seemed like a natural fit for me from the start.

I delved into the world of digi around 2007 when I began making message board signatures in my spare time. This hobby opened up a whole new world to me, as well as some really amazing and talented women, many of whom founded their own careers in the world of digital design and photography. The transition to digital scrapbooking was quite natural for me, though it took many years for me to recognize that designing was a passion of mine as well.

While I am a new designer I am hardly new to the digital world, so it is my hope to bring a new and fresh perspective to light. Thanks for joining me on this journey of learning and discovery as we create beautiful things together.
