Welcome to Trail Goals - a small design studio with a focus on hiking prints, operated by Oscar and Ilze.
The Idea behind TrailGoals started a few months after we both finished our first thru-hike, the GR11 trail which crossed the Spanish Pyrenees. We moved to a new apartment and started thinking of ways to decorate our walls. Then we came up with a brilliant idea - we could make a poster with the map of our first long-distance hike so that we could keep it in our memories.
We came up with a design that we really liked, ordered a print, and hung it up in our living room. When our friends came over, everyone kept telling us that it looks really amazing and that it fits perfectly into our minimalist apartment. At some point, someone asked: "Where did you buy it?", and basically then and there the idea for Trail Goals was born.
All of our posters are unique and designed by us. That said, we aren't printing experts, so we're collaborating with a printing studio called Printful, which manufactures all of our prints. They're pretty much known as the best-in-class poster manufacturer out there, and we want our posters to have the highest possible quality. We've ordered multiple samples from them ourselves, and honestly, we're amazed by their work - their prints come out with rich colors, they're in super high-definition resolution, and they're shipped without any wrinkles. Printful has printing facilities in the US, Canada, UK, and Europe, and your print will always be made in the nearest location, which means less/no import taxes for you, faster shipping times, and less CO2 emissions. Plus, they're printed only when you purchase them, so it results in a smaller carbon footprint. Our prices may be a bit higher than some of our competitors, but that's only because we aim for the highest quality prints.
Note: We used to make Wooden Sunglasses, and we're using the same Etsy shop, which is why you might see them in our older reviews. We started selling our prints only in February 2022, and the first ~200 sales are from our sunglasses.
