The number of manis will depend on how many layers of dip you like. We like 2 layers of dip for solids and most glitters. Some glitters look great with just one dip. All of our swatches have been dipped twice. We add a layer of our Krystal clear dip on top of all glitters.

What liquids do I use?

Dips can be used with dip liquids, monomer or with the gel method. Some gel liquids can alter color slightly. For dip liquids, you will need base, activator(hardener) and top coat. For gel method you will need gel base and top coat and a UV lamp. Message us with any questions!!

Help for chunky glitter dips?

We like dip liquids for chunky glitter. Pour dip into a cupcake liner, giving it a good mix with a cuticle stick or toothpick to "fluff" it up and then give the cupcake liner a little shake to bring any glitter or sparkles to the top. We like to turn our hand over and "lay" the finger down into the dip and then use a toothpick or cuticle stick to clean up around the nail. Then we give the glitter on our nail a very light tap, just to flatten. We often like just one dip of chunky glitter but do as many as you like! Then top with a dip into our Krystal clear dip powder just to create a nice smooth surface. Then activate, top coat....done....gorgeous!! Help with shape dips like stars, hearts, etc?

For things like hearts and stars we love to do one dip then on the second time applying base we use a toothpick to place a few shapes right where we like them. If you use the gel method, we like to apply base, then pour the dip over the nail into a cupcake liner, then follow the steps above. Message us with any questions, we love to help!

help! I think I have an allergy?

If you feel you have an allergy, stop using all products immediately. Allergies with dipping are usually to the liquids but always consult with your Doctor.

Do you make custom dips?

yes!! we actually love to. Message us for details! Custom dip mixes are usually $10 for .25 oz

Please note: Items marked as delivered by the USPS Postal Service are considered delivered. If for some reason you do not receive your order when tracking shows delivered you will need to contact your local post office to locate your package.
