Hello, my name is Hemlata and I am the owner of Kantha lover. I have early childhood memories about my great grandmother and grand mother making Kantha. My great grandmother Revati ma used to calmly make Kantha quilt as we children played around her. I have been around Kantha quilts my whole life and have a deep passion and appreciation for them. I made my first Kantha with the help of my grandmother at the age of 14 . Making that quilt not only gave me self confidence but also made my bond with my grandmother stronger as we devoted our free time together developing it. I have been making them ever since that first one and I am so excited to share my art with you. Thank you for browsing my collection, if you have any questions I’ll be happy to assist you.
