lovingly simple ~ made well ~ affordable ~ and something with a little individuality to it

After twenty years in the flower business I traded in fresh flowers for my second love of vintage fabrics and with my life's arrow forever pointing north, moving to Oregon from California was naturally meant to be. As well a florist, I gave plant and flower tours at the San Francisco Conservatory of Flowers. It was a fulfilling endeavor and I learned so much about plants. I still dream about botanists especially back in the day climbing the world's mountaintops for Orchids and other Epiphytes to both scrutinize and bask in their miniature beauty. Ahhhhh ~*~
I've been married for 35 years and we've together made our way up the California coastline.
* Vintage Pommery *
Using vintage fabrics and trims collected from all over the world I make small vintage fabric flower bouquets, corsages and boutonniere 's. The florets are made from the material and hand wired. Tied, twisted and looped together the florets create a wonderful globe shape of vintage fluff. I wrap the stem in fabric and have a terrific collection of findings and buttons to tie along the stem like early 1900's sequins, rhinestone and glass seed beads from Italy's past. I enjoy using them all. What I don't have ~ another will and I support buying supplies from fellow Etsy vendors.
No two bouquets are alike and use vintage and recycled materials down to the thread unless requesting different.
I've found with each custom order placed or bouquet bought from my shops inventory everyone has the same connection to handmade as I do ~ lovingly simple ~ made well ~ affordable ~ and something with a little individuality to it.
The bouquets are unique and come from my own design they are meant to celebrate a day that asks for little but your happiness.
You'll also find a collection of antique picture frames, intimates and at times a small tribute to our divine & earthly animal friends in my shop.
A few pieces have investment value while others whether found, bought or traded have a sense of survival and individuality.

My sold page has some interesting and one of a kind items that found fantastic new homes all over the world.
Thank You to everyone who purchased a handmade bouquet. Fun to make, my shop stock will continue to grow while I hunt for more fabulous vintage fabrics to sweeten the pot!

Located in the Pacific Northwest, many of the small towns throughout are old and are rich in history. The landscapes are beautiful and nature abundant.

There are so many shopping venues to choose from, I appreciate your thought and thank you for buying handmade and vintage items. Vintage is artistic, often made well , and may even reduce wastefulness :)

I endeavor to make all of my customers happy with their purchases and general experience of doing business with my shop.

All items from my shop have been purchased by me at yard sales and thrift stores across the west coast as well from my own collections. All my items have been previously used and nothing is in brand new condition unless stated so in the listing. I urge you to please examine all the pictures carefully.

I try to be as accurate as I can in my descriptions. I do a lot of research on the items I sell, but on occasion I need to go by the accuracy of the person who sold it to me. I do try to date the item whenever possible. I would never knowingly try to sell something as vintage (at least 20 years old) if it was not.

Please read carefully ~*~
Vintage Fabric Bouquet Orders

As Custom orders are specific, take time and are created with the buyers event in mind.

All sales are final. No returns, cancellations, or exchanges permitted.

Once receiving your fabric flowers take time to fluff the ruffles up a bit by holding the stem under the pom and kind of pluck the florets how you'd like. Each cluster is individually wired into the stem. The bouquets are meant to be touched and gently handled.

Packaging may flatten the loops a bit and you'll need to spend a few moments getting to know the bouquet and see how freely it moves. You can pull the florets out to make the bouquet a little bigger or you can condense the flowers in tightly to make the bouquet more compact.

I like to listen to music or watch a movie and discover the hidden ruffles that can pull out from the top and sides.

As stated above custom fabric flowers are non exchangeable and non refundable as are the vintage fabric bouquets that are sold in my shop. All handmade inventory is so. I wouldn't want anyone to be unhappy with their bouquet purchase tho tastes differ and while my flowers are lovely they have a unique truly handmade feel. I keep my prices affordable for all kinds of reasons ~*~ and with that everything seems to have fallen into just the right hands

If you are unhappy with a purchase let me know why and by the looks of the item you received what you think might have happened during transport.
Please examine all items carefully, read the descriptions, note the measurements and contact me for whatever questions you might have about an item before purchasing.

Your satisfaction is very important to me, I take great care in making sure my items are presented and shipped carefully.

If you are not happy with a vintage item ~ convo me and we can work out a friendly resolution.

I try to describe my items to the best of my ability, flaws and everything, but remember these are vintage items once loved and may show some wear by minor scratches, imperfections or other signs of use. Any significant damage will be mentioned in the listing.

I don't alter any of my photos, your are getting the closest to color and texture that I can through natural light.

I would love for you to leave me a feedback once you received your package, this would let me know that you got your item in satisfactory condition. If you are unhappy with the transaction, please inform me of the problem and give me an opportunity to help resolve it before leaving a negative feedback.
I accept Etsy's listed forms of payment. I ask for payment up front when ordering a vintage fabric handmade fabric bouquet.

Etsy has provided a handy reference guide as to how to pay for your item using this method. http://www.etsy.com/help_guide_checkout.php
US Shipping

I use USPS mail service and hand deliver packages to the post office though once the package has left my hands I cannot be responsible for losses or damages during shipment.

Items weighing under 13 oz will ship first class using USPS and include a tracking number.

Books will ship USPS Media Mail and include a tracking number.

Items weighing over 13 oz will ship using USPS priority mail and come with a tracking number and up to 50.00 usd insurance.

International Shipping

Convo for a quote
I do ship abroad and use USPS 1st class international shipping service.
Items weighing less than 13 oz. start at 23.00
Items weighing over 13 oz will vary starting at 24.00

Payment of duties and taxes are the responsibility of the receiver. I the shipper do not know the VAT charges that your country very likely will apply at the cost to you.

I will gladly combine shipping to save on costs. However, vintage items are often heavy, oversized and not easily boxed with other unlike items. For instance a heavy metal tool is not going to pack happily with a delicate ceramic vase.

The days of creative packaging are coming to an end we are forced to use clearly shaped and measurable sized boxes as well padded envelopes for shipping.

*Once the package reaches the customs dept in your country I cannot be responsible for additional charges that may ecru. Each country has its own set of rules while going through customs, The package may be opened and searched. You may be asked to pay additional charges for items that customs feel are appropriate to charge for.

A customs number will be provided though ...international ground delivery doesn't allow for tracking your package. There is always a small risk of lost packages or returns when sending things so far without being able to keep track of them.

I'm just as sorry to have to present a gamble ~*~ if the package comes back to me we can revisit the options for redelivery.

I'll include a customs number using Etsy's automated shipping details notification with international orders with the exception of postcards / tiny flat objects that will be sent in a greeting card sized envelope using international stamps that cost 1.50 each.

Once a 1st class package leaves the US it's a rarity to be able to track its whereabouts. Though the customs number will often show it in transit or in the best cases delivered.
UK customers ~
Here is the government notice:

Here is the Royal Mail procedure:

VAT is usually 20% of both the goods and delivery charge. There is a Royal Mail handling fee of £8, and couriers will charge a lot more.
Additional policies and FAQs
There are a couple of items that I clean before sending out. vintage clothing, kitchen ware and bedding will be handwashed using Ecover, a plant based mineral liquid soap and line dried by the power of nature( unless of course its raining )
At times the vintage items may contain lead in the paint content. Nothing in my shop is recommended for children to play with unless marked safe to do so. If a knife no matter how small is sold in my shop I ask that the buyer be over 18 years of age and will assume so since stated here.
