My journey into the world of handmade candles, soap, incense, and pottery began during my undergrad years at Marymount College in Tarrytown, an all-women's Catholic institution. It was a time of exploration, creativity, and self-discovery. What started as a hobby—creating thoughtful gifts for family and friends—soon blossomed into a passion that would evolve into something much more.
At the time, I was pursuing a dual major in Russian Literature and International Business, all while balancing a part-time job. The thought of turning my creative pursuits into a business never crossed my mind. My professional path led me to work as a Proofreader/Copyeditor and later as a Technical Project Manager for major Fortune 500 companies such as Standard & Poor's, McGraw-Hill, Scholastic, Essence Magazine, and BET/Centric. Eventually, my love for digital and multimedia found its place in the tech world, but the spark for creativity remained alive within me.
In the summer of 2020, I rediscovered my love for pottery, reigniting my passion for creating art that could serve both functional and aesthetic purposes. This rekindled connection to my craft led me to start my own home business, pouring love, energy, and attention into every product I create.
