KatBlu Studio is a custom stationery business specializing in exquisite bespoke invitations, announcements, and various paper goods accessories primarily for weddings and special events.

We originally opened our shop to provide laser cut items for DIYers. To our surprise, the demand for full service custom invitations was so high that we decided to expand our product line to also offer products for every aspect of your event and have never looked back!

KatBlu accommodates an array of unique requests for laser cut products ranging from a complete invitation suites to exquisite favor boxes and other event decor. Plus we have an all-embracing line of made to order laser cut pieces ready for your personal touch!

Our team is committed to creating a personal experience for each of our clients- whether your event is quaint or worthy of a red carpet. In the wedding world~we want to be your bridesmaid, in the baby world~we want to hold that bundle of joy, in the celebration world~we want to be the crazy gals that throw the confetti!

Thank you for checking out our policies! We try to be as thorough as possible to answer all of your questions, however, please feel free to contact us via convo, or our toll free number here at the studio 1-920-706-0051. Thank your for choosing KatBlu Studio!

When you find a design that you love and want to move forward please contact our shop and we will work together with you in determining the components of your suite as well as the printing styles and colors that you would like incorporated into your suite.

Once we have determined your suite components we will create a custom link for you to place your order. After placing your order we would ask that you send your detailed information to jen [!at] katblustudio.com and we will start the process of creating your custom proof for you to review.

If you love it, great! If you need some revisions to the design, not a problem, we will promptly take care of them until you are delighted.

When we receive your final stamp of approval , we will schedule your project, and give you an estimated production date and shipment date.

We understand things change! In our experience, we have found that after you submit verbiage it may take up to a few days for you to decide that perhaps you want just a few details changed…

In consideration of this, we give you a modest 2-3 day pause before we actually have an artisan create your pdf proof. Upon reviewing your proof, you will have another chance to make any last revisions.

If you decide after the 2nd pdf proof that you need to make changes again we’d be more than happy to make another revision, for a modest re-design fee of $35.00 an hour due to the time and labor involved with re-opening your specific file.

(Of course this does exclude any errors or typos on our behalf.)

We give each customer as much attention as we can. Sometimes we get overwhelmed with proof requests. We try to provide proofs within five business days on established designs; custom design requests may take up to two full weeks.

We understand that you are excited and anxious to see your work of art, and really appreciate your patience (it will be worth it!)

We love pre-planners, however if you order a custom design and do not plan to produce it within six months, we have to recoup the hours invested in your project. So, we will charge an additional $100 holding fee.

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details

You will be delighted with your order! But should something go amiss, please let us know within one week of receiving it so that we can make it right. We cannot accept any returns except incorrectly shipped items.
We do not have a minimum order requirement for our laser cut pieces. However, if you should choose to order an entire suite we do have a minimum orders of 25 quantity (to avoid a $15 set up charge)*. *However, for letterpress, foil stamping and raised printing processes, there is 100 minimum requirements.

We are a full custom design studio, so in addition to the items you see in our shop, we can create all of the inserts, accessories and party goods that you may need.

Digital printing will be your most economical choice under 100 quantity. Letterpress, raised ink and foil stamping require set-up and clean-up on press, so the prices are calculated on 100 minimum quantity. (You can get less than 100, but we charge the same amount as if you ordered 100.)

Here are some general guidelines, but please convo for more specific details:
Insert, digitally printed from our color palette - $1.58 each
Insert, printed letterpress or raised ink on our standard papers in one ink color- $2.25, 100 minimum.
Use double thick (duplex) paper, add $1.00 each
RSVP card, standard paper - $1.38 each
RSVP card, letterpress or raised ink one color- $1.88, 100 minimum
Envelopes with Return Address- $1.00 each
Guest Addresses imprinted on front of large envelope - $1.00 each
Insert/Accessory cards - $1.58 each
Physical Mock-ups - $15.00 each plus shipping

Favor Boxes:
2" x 2" - $2.88 each
3" x 3" - $3.58 each
4" x 4" - $5.88 each
Please note: on favor box custom design order quantities of less than 100, we will charge a $35 set-up fee.

We have matching personalized napkins, flower girl baskets, centerpieces, place cards, coasters, cupcake wrappers, guest scrolls, and so much more. Please convo for more information.


Make sure you calculate your quantities to include at least 10% more than anticipated. You would be surprised how many requests we get after we ship for “10 extra.” Going back into production is very costly and time consuming. Please don’t make it your budget buster either, as going back into production will cost you a minimum of $35 change order fee plus the costs of materials.


The pricing listed is an estimate only based on the information provided to date. Any changes to the parameters may affect the final price. Prices may change up to acceptance of this order form. Processing your payment means that you accept the order as provided on the order form. Processing payment initiates production, and any changes afterwards may affect the production time, shipping time and cost and may incur additional charges.


Rush services are defined as orders that require less than 1 week development time (if custom order), less than 10 BUSINESS days for production, and less than 1 week for shipping (international orders may require more shipping time). If your time frame requires RUSH services, we need to charge a 15-25% up-charge on services to cover the overtime wages, rush shipping on materials, and other charges associated with expediting an order.


We normally ship within 15 BUSINESS days (excluding US National Holidays), but during peak season and on complicated/large orders, our turnaround time may increase to 15+ BUSINESS Days or more. Please make sure you allow enough time for adequate production time and shipping time when placing your order. If you make changes after we start production, it may affect the turnaround time and shipping charges.


Our samples are made to order, not overruns and will be individually produced. The average ship time is 7-10 BUSINESS days from the time of your order. If you request a special color in addition to the color sample that you ordered, we will include a color swatch of it. If you request any special modifications or customizations, it may take up to 2 weeks for us to ship and there will be an additional fees may apply (up to $15). Samples requests (quantity of one) will be charged a flat fee of $2.50 for shipping and will be shipped via USPS First Class Mail.

INVENTORIED MATERIALS: Our standard pricing applies to our inventoried materials. If you desire materials outside of the standard inventory, there may be up-charges and/or custom design fees associated with sourcing and purchasing special items.


If you request a physical mock-up of your order prior to receiving the entire order, we will charge your account $35.00 for the first one, and $15.00 for additional mock-ups. They must ship to the same address or we will need to charge $35.00 each.

In order to create a mock-up, we need to schedule it into our production schedule, so please allow up to 2 weeks for it to ship.

Please note that it will also be a digital replica of your invite, in case you are ordering a specialty printed item.
SHIPPING: At this time we are shipping within the United States only. Shipping methods will vary and will be determined based on quantity ordered. We typically ship our orders via USPS Priority Mail (with the exception of samples). Shipping time is 2 -5 Business Days, no signature required in the contiguous United States. Business days depending on destination. Shipping Confirmation, Delivery Confirmation and Tracking available. If you ask for a less expensive option, we will send it USPS First Class but there is NO GUARANTEE or Shipping Confirmation, Delivery Confirmation or Tracking available, or standard delivery time. If you desire Expedited Service we will send it UPS Standard Overniight, we will charge the shipping charge plus $10 service fee. Shipping time is figured from acceptance into the courier system, which may be a day or two from when we hand the package to the courier. We cannot intercept a package after its been accepted into the courier system. NO refunds are given on shipping charges. FOB Neenah, WI. We are not responsible for any damage due to shippers, acts of nature or other unpredictable occurrences.


We love our international customers! Due to fluctuating international shipping charges we have limited direct orders from our store to shipments within the US only. If you would like to place an order please either send a convo or email luvit [!at] katblustudio.com to discuss a custom link to place your order which will include shipping charges. Please understand that customs delays are common for certain countries. Please make sure that you leave up to six weeks for your items to clear your customs department. If you do not have six weeks for shipping, then PLEASE let us know right away so that we can ship expedited service. It will cost more, but you will have the assurance of receiving it on time.
In addition we cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged internationally shipped packages.

SCORCH HAPPENS: Lasercutting is an amazing process whereby a laser ray of extremely hot energy burns a path on paper to create a design. On light colored paper, you may notice a slight scorched edge. On dark colored papers, you may notice "soot" that rubs off the cut edge. We make every effort to minimize this side effect including examining and cleaning each item one at a time. On rare occasions, you might notice some "rub off" of the soot. You may take a soft, slightly damp cloth and gently wipe the area to clean it. Make sure your cloth is not overly wet and practice on a discreet area first. We are not in any way responsible for any damage overcurring after we ship the product.

CUSTOM DESIGN FEE, starting at $150: This contract provides an estimate of design fees for your project. It includes a consultation and initial design proof based on the details and references that you provide. Upon review of the first proofs, you are allowed to make minor revisions, corrections, etc. and we will provide a second proof. After the second proof, however, if you provide additional changes or require additional consulting ($45 per hour billed in 15 minute increments), we will charge them out on a time/material basis. If you change the design direction, then we will need to begin a new contract with a new estimate of design fees. To avoid additional design fees, please make sure you are prepared to begin the design process. Phone calls, Skype meetings, etc all factor into the design time allowance. Additional consulting is figured at standard custom design rates.

USA MADE PRODUCTS: KatBlu is proud to be a USA based company. Our original designs are our legal assets and we do not allow others to produce our designs. We hope that you appreciate the many hours of development each design requires, also the effort we put into each order. Our prices reflect a very fair price given the quality of our materials and the labor that is required. We cannot undercharge for our work without putting the vitality of our small business at risk. We know that you can respect and appreciate this. We appreciate your support.

CHINA COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENTS: The Chinese government has allowed Chinese-based businesses to steal original designs and resell as their own property. This is a huge problem not only for our company but for all sorts of businesses around the world. This is a copyright infringement and an insult to the immense effort and costs we incur to create a new design. We appreciate you NOT supporting international thievery in the way of purchasing fraudulent products from sources such as these.
