My obsession for sewing started well before I was actually old enough to sew. My curiosity was endless as I watched my mom sew and create all sorts of projects. Surprised by my early interest, my mom felt it necessary to encourage this new adventure. I'll never forget the day she put me in charge of the reverse button. From that day forward, I was hooked.

Fast forward 20 years or so, and here I am... Still sewing! And more than ever before!

I initially started my business in alterations. I didn't know exactly what I wanted to sew, I just wanted to sew! I have always loved tailoring, so it was an easy go to. While doing alterations out of a local boutique in Louisville Kentucky, the boutique owner asked if I had ever made a bow tie. The Kentucky Derby was right around the corner, so why not?! It seemed like a fun new challenge. Well, needless to say, I met that challenge and then some... The bow ties were a hit! After a lot of experimenting with bow tie shape, neck band length, fabric options, etc... I was ready to put them online.

That was just over 5 years ago. This has been the best and most challenging journey of my life. Every day is a new adventure, and I wouldn't want it any other way. I'm excited to keep sewing everyday, and see what the future holds.
