All about Kate Slayton Lettering

Kate Slayton Lettering was established in fall of 2018, after our June wedding!
It all began when I hand lettered on over 100 oyster shells as escort cards for our own wedding, I instantly fell in love! Since I was little I always knew I wanted to do something in the creative- wedding industry but didn't know where I would end up.
I absolutely admire how beautiful handwriting is! It is such a special touch for any custom gift, weddings or special event! When I first opened my shop it was just a side business running on part time with dreams to take it full time. Fast forward to 2020, COVID hit and everything changed and ever since then Kate Slayton Lettering has been full time.

Do you do any lettering on paper?

The short answer is no, I do not. My business is focused on mediums such as acrylic, wood and chalkboards. For place cards, I like be unique and letter on oyster shells, lemons or terra cotta.
