Hey, I’m Stephanie! I’m the owner of this fabulous shop. Kawaii Junkiez is a female black owned business, looking to spread Kawaii Vibes to everyone.

I’ve battled with mental health issues for most of my life. At a young age I turned to arts and crafts as an outlet for my various emotions. I did everything under the sun; painting, clay sculpting, drawing, coloring books, and so much more. As I got older those things didn’t seem to hold my attention anymore. My creativity began to dwindle.

One day while I was binge watching Youtube, like I do every night (Anyone else do this?) A video popped up on my recommend feed. It was a video of a woman making insanely cute keychains and mini figurines with UV resin. Let’s just say it ruffled up my curiosity, so much so, that I ordered all the things I needed to make my first resin crafts. I was throwing things in my Amazon cart like a mad woman.

Long story short (I don’t want to keep you here all day) I fell in love. My creativity came flooding back. I worked on my resin skills day and night, perfecting my technique and learning from my multiple mistakes. It hit me like a ton of bricks when I walked into my office and saw nothing but keychains and resin pieces laying around. I thought to myself, “What am I going to do with all theses charms and keychains?”

As if guided directly to me Etsy started popping up in my Youtube ads. Now, here we are! Most of my designs are based off the of the Kawaii (Cute) culture in Japan. My own personal style is Harajuku mixed with punk. I love that my style flows through my crafts and is passed along to you, my kawaii loving customers.
