The Creation of KayrativeDigital
I have always loved creating things. I remember being a little girl and I would always ask for the craft kits at Christmas and for my birthdays. I loved how I could take something that never existed and make it into something beautiful!
When I was in high school I was able to take a web design course and I loved it, I got to design and get a credit for it! So naturally, when it came time for college I chose Web design. I got to create something from nothing when I was designing but there was something missing.
Soon after I graduated I decided that I really wanted to focus my time on my son and became a stay at home mom with a passion for crafting and planning really cool birthday parties! That is what I did for 9 years, and in that time I welcomed another son, I made things for birthdays and holidays and gifts. From birthday banners to cakes. I learned, practiced and created. I admired all the beautiful things made from nothing.
When I had my daughter in 2013 and everything changed! It started with hair bows, I wanted all of them. I wanted ones to match everything my daughter wore, it became an obsession :) I started my first business BowKay and I made hair bows, and hair flowers and fairy wands and all kinds of beautiful things.
After bows I couldn't stop creating, home decor, unique gifts, holiday decor, painted signs, vinyl signs, cards, scrapbooking, embellishments. The more I create the more I want to create! I have so many ideas I have notebooks of ideas everywhere because I will be in the middle of something and just need to write an idea down so I remember it.
It was then I realized that although I love creating and making things with my hands but I Have so many ideas that I can't possibly make them all so why not share with everyone! And KayrativeDigital was Born.
Creating is just part of who I am, and I love sharing it!
