Thank you for the review! I'm so sorry the chair doesn't feel more comfortable. I use an antimicrobial foam on my dining chairs so when they get spilled on the foam won't mold. The consequence of that is that it's not super thick and plush. If you really love the chair and want more, I'm happy to use a thicker plusher foam. The chair did turn out beautiful. Loved the colors.

Kelly was great to work with during the design phase understanding my vision, suggesting several different options and collaborating with me extremely well. The stools arrived in the promised time frame. Kelly was communicative and very concerned when there was an issue. She responded immediately to rectify. I am pleased with the final product. It is perfect in my home. I would absolutely recommend and use her again in the future. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

How do I order my custom piece?
All of my pieces can be ordered directly thru Etsy. Once the order is placed, I will reach out to you to discuss your design. You do not need to have your item designed before placing the order. If you want an item that is not listed, or a number of items that are not listed, message me and I can create a custom listing for you.
Why do I pick my fabric after the order is placed?
There is a lot of time that gets put into fabric sourcing. One of the benefits of ordering with Kelly Kate Design, is that you get that 1:1 design element that only comes with being a client.
What if I have my own fabric?
I love working with other peoples fabric and welcome it! Once your order is placed, I will send you the address to ship your fabric to.
What if I want to actually see and touch the fabric before buying it?
I can send you samples of any product you’d like to see. No limit.
Why does it take 8-12 weeks for production?
One reason I tell clients to place their order ASAP is that you do not get placed in my production que, until a physical order is created. I work on orders as they are placed and usually have multiple orders coming in at all times. If you order at a time where I have 10 orders before yours, then I will have to complete those orders before getting to yours. Despite the amount of orders I have, I still work within a 8-12 week production timeline. There are times when I can get the product out much faster so the 8-12 weeks is just an estimate.
What are your chairs and headboards made out of?
All of our furniture is made from real wood and not filler. You will notice that some of the chairs in photos have a rough or “bumpy” texture. That is because they are made from real wood. If you would like a smooth finish, please note that in your order as your chair will have to be sanded down to get that look. Otherwise, some wood grain will be visible.
