Starting Badge Buddies
KenedyUGC started as a creative outlet and quickly became something I genuinely fell in love with.
As someone who works in healthcare myself, I know how easy it is for every workday to start feeling the same—same scrubs, same badge, same routine. I wanted to create something small that could add a little personality back into the workday while still feeling personal to the person wearing it.
Every badge I create is designed individually. I love taking the little details someone gives me—their hair, favorite scrub color, profession, coffee order, favorite team, pets, hobbies, or even the shoes they always wear—and turning them into a tiny character that actually feels like them. No two people are exactly alike, and I don't think their badges should be either.
What started as me simply enjoying the process of designing and creating has slowly turned into a small business that I'm incredibly proud of. One of my favorite parts is seeing an order come through and imagining the person on the other side of it. Then I get to watch their idea go from a design on my computer, to printing and laminating, to adding the finishing touches, packaging it up, and finally sending it off to its new home.
I'm still growing, learning, and adding new ideas all the time. KenedyUGC is very much a small, handmade business—there's a real person behind every design, every package, and every little thank-you.
