Hallo ihr alle! Mein Name ist Emma und ich bin die Besitzerin von Kickturn Studio. Seit meiner Kindheit habe ich eine Leidenschaft für alle Dinge im Freien und ich liebe es, diese Leidenschaften durch meine Kunstwerke zu teilen. Aufgewachsen in Humboldt County an der Küste Nordkaliforniens, wurde mir eine tiefe Verbindung zu den Redwoods, dem Pazifik und der zerklüfteten Küste aufs Herz gelegt. Nach 16 Jahren an der Küste zog ich 2007 nach Montana und arbeitete 7 Saisons lang beim Forest Service als Wildland-Feuerwehrmann. Arbeiten und Abenteuer im Big Sky Country haben eine Liebe zu alpinen Wäldern, großen majestätischen Bergen und dem wilden Hinterland in mir platziert und es ist etwas, das ich schätze. Wenn ich nicht als Highschool-Kunstlehrerin arbeite, werde ich oft mit meinem liebevollen Ehemann an der Küste und in den Bergen erlebt.
Alle meine Kunstwerke werden von meinen beiden Händen in unserem Off-Grid-Haus in den Bergen von Montana gemacht, wo ich von Inspiration und Liebe von meiner Familie und unseren vielen verschwommenen Tieren umgeben bin.
Hi all! My name is Emma and I am the owner of Kickturn Studio. Since childhood, I have been passionate for all things outdoors and I love to share these passions through my artwork. Growing up in Humboldt County on the coast of Northern California, a deep connection to the redwoods, pacific ocean, and rugged coastline was put on my heart. After 16 years of living on the coast, I moved to Montana in 2007 and worked with the Forest Service as a wildland firefighter for 7 seasons. Working and adventuring in Big Sky Country placed a love for alpine forests, large majestic mountains, and the wild backcountry within me and it is something I cherish. When I am not working as a high school art teacher, I am often found adventuring the coast and mountains with my loving husband.
All of my artwork is made by my two hands in our off grid home in the mountains of Montana, where I am surrounded by inspiration and love from my family and our many fuzzy animals.
