From class project, to real business!
My name is Emma, and this business was my idea that started as a mini-project for a Young Entrepreneur class I took last year in 5th grade. Each student had to think of a product to sell, create a prototype, name our business, design a logo, and draft a business plan. I chose face covers for kids, because I had already started to learn to make them from my mom and grandma.
Through the help of my parents and my grandma, I turned my class project into a real business. I know that face masks and covers are available from many places now, and they probably won't always be needed. (I can't wait for the day when we don’t need to wear anything on our faces at all.) But for now, I'm using this as a way to learn everything I can about how to start, run, and be responsible for a business.
Thank you for stopping by my shop, and for reading about why I created KidCover. Hopefully you can find a face cover color or pattern (or 2 or 3) that you or your kids like. Once you receive your KidCover, please come back to our Etsy shop and leave a quick review. Or tag us (@kidcoverco) in a photo on Instagram or Twitter.
Thank you so much for your support!
