Kilted Woman
Kilted Woman shop was born out of a desire to share my love for Scotland and Ireland!
On a trip to Scotland years ago, I was exploring around a castle when I found a piece of blue and white sea pottery. This lead to another piece, and another, some sea glass, an old brick and many other treasures. I was hooked! I spent the rest of the trip going back to the beach again and again to find more. I ended up with a suitcase full of beach finds to take home.
I held onto these things for a couple of years when it dawned on me to learn how to drill the glass and make necklaces. The first few sold quickly so I made more. Soon I had enough to open an etsy store and I have just kept on growing my shop from there. Having been to Scotland 6 times so far, I've found many wonderful pieces of sea glass and old pottery.
I've recently taken up Irish dancing and made a trip to Ireland last summer. I'm happy to expand my shop to include Irish items as well.
Through my etsy store I've met many interesting people who all share a love of Celtic culture and find the history just as fascinating as I do.
