Welcome to KitschnLinens! I want to bring a little fun to the kitchen with table linens, aprons, tea towels and more in happy and whimsical fabrics, many with hand embroidered accents and trims. I buy fabric in fairly small quantities and use many vintage fabrics and trims that are very limited in quantity. All fabrics are prewashed to reduce shrinkage in perfume and dye-free laundry soap. Items are made in my smoke-free home. I have two cats who like to supervise, but do not come into contact with any fabrics. All items are already made, ready to ship to you in 1-2 business days.

What am I going to do with all this fabric?

This started with a cleaning binge. I had been laid off from my office job of many years, and needing a project, started cleaning out closets. And what was in those closets? Fabric. Bins and bins of fabric. Forgotten fabric, vintage fabric, scraps of fabric, really cute fabric, some kinda ugly fabric ( but cute in an ironic sort of way), all waiting to be transformed into...what?

I've always been obsessed with dishes and table linens (it's in my blood - my Mom and Grandma suffered from the same affliction). I've also always loved sewing and needlework, learning from my Mom, Grandma, aunts and sisters. Everybody was always working on a project! And so I began to sew and sew, making the aprons, placemats, napkins and runners you see in my shop. I love that as I'm sewing and embroidering I feel like my Mom and and my Grandma and Auntie Margaret are here with me.
