KittyOverlords - Creating Charming Vertical Spaces for Your Lovely Cats

At KittyOverlords our philosophy is to give your cats beautiful spaces of their very own to play and relax. Our own kitties, Oscar and Zelda enjoy socializing and laying on their array of elegant hardwood shelves. It gives the them a sense of security while adding beauty to our home.

The shelves are made with solid American hardwoods and finished using beeswax and polymerized lindseed oil. The shelves require simlar tools to picture frame mounting and will hold up to 40 Pounds of feline mass for years to come. Please contact us with questions. We look forward to serving you and your kitty overlords.

Simple Mounting:
Because of the cantilevered design and SPAX heavy duty screws provided with each shelf, mounting is straight forward. Mounting requires an electric screwdriver, a Philips head bit, a stud finder, and a level. The shelves do require mounting to a stud. Installation instructions are provided.

The items listed require 3-5 business days to ship.

Sizing:
The shelves are roughly 10 inches deep (front to back), 3.5 inches tall, and 15 inches in width. Expect variations of up to an inch as each piece is individually cut, planed, sanded and sealed.

Searching around for stylish, well made shelves for my cats to hang out on. Our apartment is tiny so I wanted some vertical spaces for them. These shelves by KittyOverlords is just what i was looking for. My cats weren't sure how to react they gazed at them curiously. Now they can't get enough of looking over our heads and down at us. Hahah! Everyone loves how they look in our apartment with such gorgeous wood variations and most importantly our cats enjoy them. I would recommend anyone who has cats and wants stylish fun for them to get these shelves.

These shelves are beautiful and very well made! We got them unfinished so we could paint them to match our walls & put Flor tiles on them. Just put the first two up, and installation went pretty well. It definitely helps to have a 2nd person to eyeball placement and hold the shelf while the other person drills. They seem really sturdy in our plaster/lathe walls, even with our 17lb cat jumping onto them!

We began the shop in October of 2012 after the admiration of our cat shelves prompted us to try an Etsy store. We plan on ever-improving our cat products and helping meet our customers and their kitties' needs.
