From my little nest to yours, welcome!
Born and raised in Evergreen, Colorado—and by way of Louisiana and Texas—I am incredibly blessed to now call Wisconsin Rapids home. My world is full and bright, shared with my husband, our three kiddos, a gentle giant Great Dane Mastiff pup, and our wonderful extended family.
Knifty Little Threadhead began with a calling placed on my heart while carrying my first baby. As I spent those quiet, expectant days designing his nursery, I felt moved to handcraft sweet, beautiful pieces that would make the "nesting" experience as blissful for other mamas as it was for me.
That calling only grew stronger as our family expanded. My heart grew even greater with each of my three children—my original inspirations and the reason behind every stitch I make today.
While my heart belongs to my babies at home, my passion for the journey of motherhood was solidified by my own birth stories and my path in healthcare. Having the honor of helping mamas bring their babies into the world as a Nursing Student and Nurse Tech in Labor & Delivery, I have witnessed firsthand the sacred, sweet moments of the "firsts": the first breath, the first time being held, the first latch, and the first time meeting siblings.
It was in those delivery rooms that I felt truly moved to create items that make the celebration of a new life even sweeter. Here in my little shop, I combine a nursing student’s eye for detail with a mother’s heart and prayer into every stitch. Each item is handmade to help you feather your nest and celebrate the tiny miracles that change our lives forever.
