Knitpickyknits - Equipping your purpose to help you find your fit
It started at a kitchen table. Like many of you, my creative life was defined by the search for the right tension—not just in the yarn, but in my energy, my time, and my calling. I spent years trying to “fit in” to the expectations of craft culture, only to realize that true joy isn’t found in performance, but in fit.

In that realization, my desire to create really beautiful things and reach a higher standard in my creative pursuits -- my being "nitpicky" about how I did things -- birthed the Knitpickyknits project and eventually, this shop.

🥄From Hooks to Foundations
My crafting journey started with hooks - crochet, Tunisian crochet, latchhooks... For many years, that was my primary creative focus. Later I became a professional seamstress, and began embroidery, cross stitch, and eventually illustration, digital editing, and laser cutting.
~~~
I wanted to learn every craft, and expand in every direction, but sourcing what I really needed was a difficult and often exasperating search. The resources, skills, and tools I needed as a novice and beginner was often very different from what I sought as an intermediate or advanced maker.
The Trilogy of the Maker
My process is governed by three disciplines:
🥄 Ikigai: Living with purpose
🥄 Hansei: Healthy self reflection
🥄 Kaizen: Continuous, prayerful improvement
When you use our digital and laser-cut resources, you aren’t just buying a stencil or a pattern; you are plugging into a system that values the process of creation from concept to complete.
~~~
Energy Stewardship: If it doesn’t nourish your capacity, it doesn’t belong at your table. We prioritize designs that simplify your workflow and reduce decision fatigue.
