Frequently asked questions
Are the motifs printed on?
No. Every motif is knitted jacquard or intarsia: made of yarn, worked into the fabric on industrial flat-bed machines. There is no print to crack, peel or fade.
What does made to order mean?
Your piece does not exist until you order it. It is knitted, hand-finished and steamed in 2 to 3 weeks, then shipped. No dead stock, no warehouse.
What are the pieces made of?
Heavyweight knitted jacquard in 50% wool and 50% acrylic. A finished sweater weighs 450 to 650 grams depending on size.
How do I wash it?
Hand wash cold or use the wool cycle at 30 degrees. Never wring or hang it: dry flat on a towel, away from sun and radiators.
Do you knit custom pieces?
Yes: band logos, your own motif, sizes beyond 2XL up to 7XL. Commissions take 2 to 4 weeks.
Will I pay import duties on delivery?
Not in the US: for orders shipping to the US, import duties are prepaid by us and already included in the price you pay at checkout, so nothing is due on delivery. Within the EU there is nothing to pay. For other countries, local import duties or taxes may be charged on delivery.
