KnotSense combines knots and colors into accessories for the entire family -- from toddlers to mom and dad, even the family pet! We specialize in sensory helps for kids who need extra sensory input, whether it's sensory processing disorder, autism, or other conditions. The Sensory Fidget Bracelets are our original design.

Although I started out just making simple bracelets for kids, I fell in love with knotting. I am inspired by Celtic knots and the graceful curves of ancient sailor's knots. Through research and experimenting, I enjoy learning new techniques and expanding my repertoire. I also love playing around with color combinations. Knots have almost unlimited applications -- from survival tools to intricate jewelry.
My line of therapeutic sensory bracelets and fidgets were inspired by my children and their friends. After learning so much about sensory integration and sensory therapy, I wondered if I could create something helpful. The Knots4Tots sensory bracelets in our shop are my own design.
Here is one mom's experience with a sensory bracelet: "Sunday morning, he wore it while we were at a restaurant for breakfast. His left hand was playing with the beads and string instead of rubbing his eyes (his latest motor tic). I am going to give it to his 'shadow' at preschool as it will probably be something good for him to wear at circle time or story time, when he is asked to be still/quiet (things that are a bit hard for him!)"

The connection piece is a soft melt and broke in me... I can’t even wear it now... but the bracelet looked nice and I wish I could wear it to show ot off and to show off my autism awareness...

I first came across paracord bracelets at Cub Scout camp. I quickly discovered that I enjoyed knotting and braiding bracelets, and learning new types of knots. With infinite color and knot combinations, there's always something new to make.
I love to play around with color combinations. I'm fascinated with intricate ties -- probably due to my grandmother introducing me to Celtic knot artwork.

Custom and personalized orders
We are happy to accept custom orders! Just click the "Request Custom Order" button or send us a convo. Custom orders may take longer to ship, especially if needed materials are not in stock.
Sizing details
To determine size:
Use a flexible tape measure and wrap it snugly around your wrist. Or wrap a string around your wrist, mark the circumference, and measure with a ruler. Do not add any extra length--it's already built in to the bracelets.
If your item does not fit, please contact us about an exchange. You are responsible for return shipping. Replacement items will not be shipped until the original item is returned to us.
