Craft is all about getting creative and finding in your art things about yourself that you couldn't discover without it. I learned the craft of macrame by my grandmother. A Russian woman, tough and fair. In the course of my life, I have recognised and realised that this craft and any craft has these two qualities. They demand your presence and they will offer it back to you. Fair and square.
Different colours, different textures, different “closures” but at the end of the day, we all need and we all desire the same things. To have it in a nice way, to be a necessary part of our own lives. To have a meaningful day, like a boho style earring has an aesthetic meaning in a happy face person. It’s not much to ask, but it is difficult because we have to learn a basic lesson first. The lesson of patience.
Knotify - for me - is the actualization of one of my dreams. To craft and this craft to be recognised and to be appreciated.
