Fantastic What?
I began designing back in high school, and fell in love with the concept of creating things for others to use to not only promote themselves and their businesses, but to help others see emotions through art. I began college as most do, taking mostly general education credits. I went through some rough relationships and friendships in my two years in community college, and lost pleasure in all of my artistic endeavors. I transferred to a four year university deciding to pursue a career in biology. During this time, I began failing classes and the slight but manageable depression symptoms I had dealt with my entire life began to take hold pretty hard. In 2017, I failed out of university, and began immersing myself in art again. I found myself knee deep in the K-Pop scene while exploring different kinds of art and being influenced by my artist friends. As my first group, BTS helped me learn to look within myself and love myself and everything I am about. I realized this was the key, and ended up being exactly what my artwork was missing. As my love for the music and the production behind it progressed, I found G-Dragon and BIGBANG, along with G-Dragon's passion for not only music, but other art forms as well. This is where the inspiration for Fantastic Baby Dragon originated. I used the BIGBANG song as costume inspiration for Halloween in 2018, as well as inspired my mom to explore the group and their music. I hope you all find inspiration in the things I create as much as I have found inspiration not only within the K-pop community, but other artists as well.
