Announcement Welcome to my Etsy Shop.
I am always on the search for vintage and out of print fabric as well as current fabric. I also continue to go through my fabric stash, sewing notions and craft supplies. I'm looking through everything and finally realizing that I need to let go of some of it because there is no way that I could complete all these projects in my life time! Might as well let someone else put it in their stash!
I did craft shows for 20 years. Also owned an antique and craft store for several years.
My husband and I moved to the center of Michigan 19 years ago and I am thankful that our log home has a walk-out basement with a window that I can watch the deer & turkeys while I sew or work on Etsy.

Civil war sampler hanging in our living room
The quilts on this ladder were all pieced by my mom. Found 5 quilt tops after she passed. Gave 3 to siblings & kept 2
Family picture taken a severa years ago. We now have 20 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Our log home
Antique doctor's buggy bought at a garage sale several years ago.

Every item I sew and quilt is made as if it is for someone special to me!

I started sewing doll clothes at the age of 8 years old. I use to make all my own clothes and clothes for my family. Through the years I have worked outside the home as administrative assistant, sales clerk, bank proof operator, and church secretary.

In the 1970's and 80's I stayed busy doing craft shows and home parties with my crafts. In 1993, I opened a handmade craft and antique store. It was fun for 3-1/2 years, but not really profitable because of all the overhead expenses. Since retiring we moved up north in Michigan to our dream log home on acres with a walkout basement and beautiful view of the woods and wildlife. I now sew and quilt every single day.

Opening an Etsy store is just perfect for me. I can share the items that I make with those that like my creations.
