Custom and personalised orders
Customs and personalised orders will take more time due to the fact that they will be especially made for you. Once ordered, we will not be able to cancel or accept return of the order. There could be slight variations in the custom orders like colour, size of the motifs due to the fact that it may be a different weaver who will make your product or the colours may differ slightly due to the dyeing process.
But rest assured that we will do our utmost to make it as close to the desired specifications as possible. It is a very common practice in India to custom make handloom products. So people in this industry are very careful and precise about orders.
Care instructions
Most of our products are handloom and are using natural yarns like cotton, Silks and Linens.
We will provide individual wash care for each but in general - we recommend hand wash cottons and linens separately with mild detergents and shade dry as most of these items have natural dye and that tends to fade under harsh sunlight and also certain colours bleed.
For Silks - we recommend not washing and dry clean only if necessary.

Do i need to pay for customs and import duty ?
Yes. You will need to pay any additional import duties or taxes relevant to your countries local policies and rates.
Gift wrapping and packaging
We will do Gift Wrapping on Request. Message me on how you want it to be gift wrapped. Will do the best possible from local resources.
How do we Ship and our Charges.
We want to be transparent about our Shipping charges and also try to offer the best possible price .
We are Shipping Via EMS ( International Speed Post ) or Via Aramex . The average cost of the shippings for International shippings is almost 25- 30 USD from India via these shippers .
We are charging at an average 20 $. We do not want to add the costs of Shipping to our products as that artificially increases the actual product costs .
We try to ship within the stipulated time frame unless there are circumstances that prevents us from doing so such as the various lockdowns during the current on going pandemic.
We will inform you in such cases.
There could be delays in shipping if you require some additional customisation is requested.
Why do you not accept returns ?
Firstly we are based out of a relatively underdeveloped region of the country and the processing costs and time are much higher relative to the metro cities .Additionally the complications of an inbound delivery are a little too much for us at the moment .
But if you think that you absolutely must return , please do not hesitate to contact me.
But before you do that please understand that slight imperfections are inherent to the handloom process . They are all unique and distinct products. We also cross check each product thoroughly before we send them , so it is unlikely that you will receive a defective product . We stand behind our products. So , we may accept the returns under very exceptional conditions only. Thank you all .
Where do we Ship from ?
Etsy requires us to provide the postal code from where we ship our products from . We ship from two locations - 781024 and 786125 . 781024 is our Business location ( Guwahati ) and 786125 ( Tinsukia ) is our registered location. We may ship from either location depending upon where the products are at the moment of order .
