Hi and welcome, My name is Kristy and I am a lifestyle photographer from Boston, Massachusetts. Life can be hectic sometimes, so I try to take a deep breath, take a sip of my coffee and find the beauty in the small, simple moments.
My love of photography and cameras started as a young girl, watching my Papa use his Rolleiflex, Polaroid Sx-70, and vintage Canon and Minolta film cameras. Following him around, watching him photograph family moments, nature, our city, street-life, and still life moments excited me. Today I am privileged to use his cameras and every time I do I think of him and hope I can make him proud with my work. I love the softness that vintage cameras and film produce naturally. I also use digital cameras and I try to get the same softness from those photos with the use of Photoshop and sometimes textures.
I like to look at photography as more of a feeling. A moment, a memory, a dream. Each photo gives each person who looks at it a different experience, which is why photography is so magical. Each day I am grateful to every customer who has my work hanging in their home. I feel truly privileged.
