# Privacy Policy

_Last updated: 3 November 2026_

This policy explains what we collect when you buy one of our digital products and what you can ask us to do with it. It covers sales through Etsy, Gumroad and itch.io. Each marketplace also has its own privacy policy, and that policy governs the marketplace itself.

**Who we are:** Eddie Cache LLC, United States. **Contact:** Olympus.Inc.Hq@gmail.com (we handle all privacy requests by email).

## What we collect

When you buy from us, the marketplace passes some of your order details to us:

- your email address
- your name, if the marketplace provides it
- your country
- what you bought, when, and the order reference
- whether you agreed to hear from us (Gumroad asks this at checkout)

Payment card details never reach us; the marketplace handles payment.

We also see totals for our listings, such as views, favorites and sales, that do not identify you.

## Why we use it (and the legal basis)

| Use | Legal basis (EU/UK) |---|---|
| Delivering your purchase, answering support, handling refunds | Performing our contract with you |
| Bookkeeping and tax records (our books hold order totals, order numbers and countries, never your name or email) | Legal obligation |
| Understanding which products sell and improving them (not for Etsy orders) | Our legitimate interest in running the shop |
| Product updates and offers by email, **only if you agreed and have not opted out** | Your consent |

For Etsy orders, we use your details only to fulfil the order and support you, as Etsy's rules require. They are not used for product analysis, and we never market to Etsy buyers outside Etsy.

## What we never do

- **We do not sell or rent your personal information**, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- We do not upload customer lists to advertising platforms.

If this ever changes, we will update this policy first and, where the law requires, ask for your consent. California residents would also get a "Do Not Sell or Share" option before any such change takes effect.

## Who else handles it

We share your details only with service providers that help us run the shop. Each is bound by its own terms:

- the marketplace you bought from (Etsy, Gumroad, itch.io)
- our database host (Supabase)
- our application host (Fly.io)
- AI tools that help us run the business (Anthropic), which do not use our data to train their models

We may also share details where the law requires it.

## How long we keep it

We keep transaction and tax records for 7 years, for tax purposes, and then delete them. You can ask us to delete your details at any time (see below). We will then delete everything except what tax law makes us keep.

## Your rights

You can ask us to:

- **give you a copy** of what we hold about you
- **correct** it
- **delete** it
- **stop all marketing** to you (you can also use the unsubscribe link in any email)
- **object to or restrict** how we use it

Write to Olympus.Inc.Hq@gmail.com from the address you bought with. We answer within 30 days. We do not charge for this, and we will not treat you differently for asking.

If you ask us to delete your details, we keep a one-way scrambled code (a hash) of your email address and nothing else. This stops our systems from importing your details again from an old order. It is used for nothing else, and kept for as long as we run the shop so that the block keeps working.

If you are in the EU or UK and you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to your data protection authority.

## International transfers

Our service providers may process data in the United States and elsewhere. Where the law requires it, they use recognized safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

## Children

Our products are not aimed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.

## Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell customers who agreed to hear from us.
