About The Artist/Independent Designer.....

Graduating with an Interior Design degree she found her true passion for art and creativity while studying in college. She has been creating and sewing since she was a little girl -inspired by her mother who is extremely talented as well. Growing up without a t.v. also inspired her family to be more artistic pushing her in that direction. In the last ten years she has exhibited her handcrafted product in galleries and retail venues. She has evolved as an independent artist and designer and has always dreamed of running a successful creative business. She has immersed herself in artistic opportunities in the communities she is a resident in and believes in giving back as well. Her love for nature, repurposing and anything artistic has sent her on an amazing journey expressing her creativity to touch others she meets. In 2009 La Mia Designs was one of the semi-finalists to present her small business to the editors of Country Living Magazine.
Recently, she and her significant other have begun a small homestead which has inspired farm related themed products.

La Mia Designs, a small eco-conscious independent design business. La Mia strives to creatively express customer's desires whether it be in handcrafted product and interior design consultation. We guarantee the work we do and put our customers needs first. From the beginning sketches and photographs to the finished product everything is done in one studio. From eco-friendly and repurposed interiors to fashion accessories and home accents La Mia can turn a vision into reality.

Once upon a time I grew up without a t.v. I started making scrunchies and dolls with my cousin at my grandmother's home. Over a number of years I created gifts, went to college and found my passion for product design, creativity and art. One day I hope to be at the point of working for myself and not having to pick up odd jobs. To share my creations and ideas with others that believe in me is the ultimate destination!
