Custom Creations from a Navy Veteran to Honor Service Members
My name is Rob, and I joined the US Navy back in 1992 for reasons that are like most others that have joined. It might have been to find adventure, earn money for school, move out of my hometown, show my love for my country or maybe to grow up a little after finishing high school.
I only served a brief time on active duty (2 years) and the rest in the reserves (6 years). Those years I spent as an ABH (Aviation Boatswain's Mate Handler) were especially important to me as was the rate I earned. It brings back great memories of my shipmates, places I visited and the work I did. I was stationed on the USS Enterprise for my active duty when the Big E was in the shipyard for the overhaul, which I was there for the ships last year in the yards and then it was sea trials and short deployments for the second year. I spent time in Crash & Salvage and in Fly 2. For the rest of my enlistment, I was in the reserves out of Great Lakes where my gaining command was Rota Spain, joint ops with the 126th Air Refueling Wing at O'Hare and then with the 128th ARW at Mitchell in Milwaukee.
Why did I start this shop? I found myself looking for stickers I could put onto my personal and work laptops to show my military pride. I was also thinking it would be great to have one that I could put onto my car. After some looking online, I was frustrated that I really didn't find what I wanted, so I started to create my own. You're here because I'm sure you are running into the same problem!
I'm a one-man shop when it comes to the handmade decals you see in my shop. As my shop has grown and customers have asked for my designs on various products, I now use print-on-demand partners to create these products with my designs.
