I started making jewelry, mainly because I wanted pretty things that I couldn't afford to buy. So I go to gem shows, bead shows, sales, flea markets, estate sales, anywhere that I think I can strike a bargain. I make pieces that I find comfortable to wear and sell them at a reasonable cost so everyone can afford to purchase them. I'm not out to make a million dollars, I just want to be able to give someone joy from wearing pretty jewelry without breaking the bank.
I do all the work myself. I purchase, design and sell everything from my extra room in my house that has thousands of beads, a computer and a window.
It gives me great pleasure to see someone wearing a piece that I've created. No two pieces are ever alike, because they come from my head, not a magazine or book. However, I do enjoy making matching pieces for weddings, etc. I can pretty much create whatever you might have in mind!
