Can I create my own design?
Yes! You can contact us with a design you have in mind and we can re-create your design for engraving. We will work with you and create mock-ups to make sure you're happy with the final design before engraving the product.
How thick are the cutting boards?
The majority of our hardwood boards - maple, cherry and walnut - are 3/4” thick. Bamboo boards are 7/16” thick.
The large oversized cutting board measuring 24x18" is 1 1/4" (1.25) inches thick.
Can I order multiple boards?
Yes! Just choose the board option in the drop down list, select your design template and personalization info. Once you add the board to your cart, you’ll be able to change the quantity before checkout.
Can I see what it will look like before you engrave it?
Yes, we will send a proof (mock-up) of the design before engraving to make sure you're happy before the product is made.
After you place your order, please look for a message within 24 hours with a digital proof of your design for your approval.
ORDERS WILL NOT BE MADE UNTIL WE RECEIVE YOUR APPROVAL.
How fast is shipping?
As soon as we receive your approval of the design, we will create and ship the board within 1-2 days. We ship items through USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground, depending on the location. Both services typically take 2-5 days to be delivered.
Can I get faster shipping?
Yes! Expedited shipping (overnight delivery) is available for an additional cost. Ordered must be received and designs must be approved before noon to qualify for overnight delivery.
Which wood looks best for engraving?
The wood choice is personal preference, but to answer the question about engraving... the lighter the wood color, the more the engraving stands out.
Maple and bamboo are the lightest of our wood choices and creates a very stark contrast for engraving. Walnut is our darkest wood, which makes the engraving more subtle. Cherry is somewhere in the middle.
Care instructions
All Boards come pre-oiled with food-grade mineral oil, so no initial curing is necessary.
- HAND WASH ONLY - NEVER SUBMERGE IN WATER AND NEVER PUT IN THE DISHWASHER
- DISINFECT & DEODORIZE WITH WHITE VINEGAR
- REMOVE STAINS WITH 2 TABLESPOONS OF BAKING SODA, 1 TABLESPOON OF SALT & 3 TABLESPOONS OF HOT WATER TO CREATE A NON-TOXIC CLEANING AGENT
