I love to create.
I was born and raised on a cattle ranch in rural Montana. I attended University in Tennessee where I obtained a BFA in Metals. In 2010 I came to Denmark where my now husband lives. After some back and forth between here and the States, I finally permanently settled in Aarhus, Denmark in 2011 after getting married.
After moving to a new (more expensive) country with little money, it became hard to make the work I was trained for. So I experimented with other mediums and fell in love with painting. Having only had one class in high school, I've had to teach myself new painting techniques. Being a self learner has been quite a fun challenge.
The hope for this shop to be an inviting place where customers feel welcome and truly connected the piece they select. One thing that keeps it going is the desire to keep learning and to always improve. Along the path, there is a hope to create works that inspire, educate and entertain.
