Bringing quality hadcrafted geekery to the masses.

I have been making, gifting and selling things my whole life. One of my earliest memories is of my best friend and I selling cute painted rocks at our local library and school fairs. The magic of engaging with accessories, the human desire to adorn oneself and owning cute things never really wore off. I started making accessories to sell at festivals and bazaars, always finding new mediums to work with constantly, for years. That was nearly two decades ago. Over the last ten years or so, I was drawn to the crafting mediums of lasercutting and LEDs. I sold shiny fandom jewelry and glowing costume cat ears at geeky conventions for a living, for a long time.

I no longer run GeekStar Costuming (the previous name of my business, and this shop) because I needed to branch out again into other ways of making a living. However, I still adore laser cutting and want to help anyone just now getting into laser cutting with delightful, easy-to-use cut files that bring the world just a bit more joy and help people express themselves.
