Ho iniziato la mia attività di taglio laser a casa nel 2003, quando mio padre, scomparso nel 2008 a causa di un cancro al pancreas, aveva fiducia nelle mie capacità di progettazione grafica, nella mia creatività e nel mio servizio clienti. Mio padre mi comprò la mia macchina per il taglio laser nel 2003 e da lì è iniziata la mia avventura! All'inizio è stato difficile, soprattutto perché il venditore non aveva incluso il cavo di alimentazione, incredibile ma vero! E poi, una volta arrivato il cavo, lo sportello del laser non funzionava correttamente a causa di un magnete mancante nel coperchio, quello che spegne tutto! (interruttore di sicurezza)... potete immaginare? Beh, già allora ricevevo ordini online, e io non riuscivo a tagliare il legno per via di questi stupidi pezzi mancanti! Alla fine abbiamo risolto i problemi! (papà è sempre stato di grande aiuto). Anni dopo, ci fu un'interruzione di corrente a causa di un temporale! Stavamo proprio aggiornando alcuni quadri elettrici in officina... Beh, papà ebbe la brillante idea di collegare i cavi della rete elettrica principale al quadro elettrico dal palo della luce MENTRE LA CORRENTE ERA STACCATA a causa di un temporale! Salì su uno sgabello e usò dei guanti di gomma e un cacciavite con manico di legno, nel caso in cui la corrente fosse tornata improvvisamente! Fu l'idea più folle e pericolosa che avessi mai visto! Tutto per sbrigarsi e aggiornare l'impianto elettrico dell'officina! Beh, riuscì a collegare i cavi principali al quadro elettrico dal palo della luce appena in tempo! La corrente tornò dalla compagnia elettrica MOLTO poco dopo che lui era sceso da quello sgabello! Fu così pericoloso, non lo dimenticherò mai. Questo accadde circa un anno prima che morisse. Si dedicò con passione ad aiutarmi a eccellere nella mia attività di taglio laser del legno! Nel 2009, ho scoperto questo meraviglioso sito web, Etsy! Ho iniziato a vendere croci che disegnavo e tagliavo al laser dal legno. Ho conosciuto tantissimi clienti gentili e meravigliosi su questo sito negli ultimi 17 anni! Continuo a vendere con successo su Etsy e ne sono entusiasta! Ho realizzato oltre 55.000 vendite in questo periodo e continuo a crescere ogni anno grazie alla meravigliosa community di Etsy! I started my laser work at home shop in 2003, when my father, who passed away from pancreatic cancer in 08, had faith in my graphic design skills , creativity, and customer service skills. My father purchased my laser cutter machine for me in 03 and i was off to the races! It was a rough start at first mainly due to the seller of the machine not including a POWER cord, if you can believe that! and then once the power cord arrived, the door to the laser was malfunctioning due to a missing magnet in the lid that shuts the whole thing down ! ( safety switch ) .. can you imagine? Well, there were already orders coming in off the internet for me even back then, and here i was unable to cut any wood because some silly missing parts! We got the bugs worked out! ( dad was always a big help ). One time years later there was a power failure due to storms! We just happened to be upgrading some breaker boxes in the shop.... Well, dad had this great idea to connect the main power grid electric wires to the breaker box from the power pole WHILE THE POWER WAS OFF from a thunder storm! He got up on stool and used some rubber gloves and wood handle screwdriver , in case the power suddenly resumed! It was the craziest idea i had ever seen and so dangerous! all to hurry up and upgrade the power needs of the shop! Well, he got the mains wired up to the box from the power pole just in time! the power came back on from the power company VERY shortly after he got down off that stool! It was so dangerous, i will never forget that. That was about a year before he died. He was dedicated to helping me exceed in my laser cutting wood business! In 2009, I discovered this wonderful website, Etsy! I began selling crosses that I drew and laser cut from wood. I have met so many wonderful kind customers on this website in the last 17 years! I continue to thrive and sell on Etsy and I love it! I have made over 55,000 sales here in that time and continue to grow each year because of the wonderful community here on Etsy!
