Great gift idea. Seller shipped the item very quickly, making sure it arrives on time. The clock in itself is still work in progress, so it is too early to comment on that, but looks promising. Definitely recommend.

bought as a gift for my other half but i'm looking forward to helping him make it ...not sure if i bought it for him or me really!! so we haven't started building it yet but it looks like there's a lot of support and help if you get stuck, so should be good. I have my eye on the chess board which may be a little ambitious, we'll just have to see how this little clock goes! :)

Amazing kits.The definition of a "functional art".These work tremendously great as a presents too.I started with smaller kits,and ended up buying all the available kit types for sale.Ending now with magnum opus of Tony's works - "chess board" and "time flies".These last ones take a lot of time to build yourself, if you are not buying the pre-assembled ones. The long building process is what I tremendously enjoy, personally. These kits also have a "hand-made"/one-of-a-kind-in-the-whole-world feel and look, with subtle unique deviations, especially if you build them yourself. If you're looking for a conversation-starting decorative piece that combines style, functionality, and nostalgia, look no further than the Lasermad's products. PS:cameras do not capture well the beauty of a nixie glow.
